From Walter-Busch, Emil, "Streitbare Pionierin der angewandten Psychologie in der Schweiz: Franziska Baumgarten" :
"after graduating from high school, studied literature, philosophy and psychology: 1905/06 in Cracow, 1906/07 with H. Bergson, P. Janet and others. in Paris and again in Cracow in 1907/08. Since she could not do her doctorate here, she continued her studies in philosophy and psychology at the University of Zurich in 1908."
Mom's expansion of the text (email Feb. 26, 2002):
[This] is her registration information from the University of Zürich, were she evidently was a phil student Winter and summer 1908.She was exmatriculated from the universities of Cracow and Paris, and graduated March 11th 1910, not clear to me from where. Should be zůrich (Obviously information was added to this entry years later).
Then "E" stands for Eltern=parents, her mother's Lodz address, the CORRECT birthdate. "Wg"=Wohnung (apartment), then the address, "II" means second floor, "b" means "bei"=at, c/o, ie. whose place she is staying at (it's a sublet).
Then comes: “Notice:-crossed border on September 30 1908. Passed her entrance examinations in 3 subjects according to the provision of Fall 1907-1910 she got her PhD with a Thesis entitled "The epistlemology (Dad's translation) of Maine de Biran"

Followed by the publication reference. She was "engebürgert" *(i.e. she gained citizenship) in Zürich in 1911, married Moritz Tramer (1882- T963= Matriculation #19034) but retaining her maiden name, 1929 she became "PD" = Privat Dozent, something like a lecturer at Berne, was the director of a labor/ and industrial psychological department in Bern: 1958 received the Dr.h.c. (=honorary title) in Amsterdam + Bern March 1970 (I believe that's when she finally got the honorary Professorship); the next entries seem to be references to where this was published, ar then an entry from the Swiss Lit. archive where they apparerntly changed the birthdate! (Not only the year, but the whole date!l)
Her dissertation on "Die Erkenntnislehre von Maine de Biran" [The Epistemology of Maine de Biran] is available online.
A review appears in the November 1911 issue of the Revue de Métaphysique et de Morale
